MAP

PARTICIPATION

It is a non-competitive event. The number of maximum participants will be limited to 150

The swimmers will be divided into 4 groups based on the pace indicated on registration by each swimmer, indicating their time of 3,000 meters at the pace of the open water swim.

The groups will be controlled by a group leader who can stop and reorganise the group at the time he or she deems appropriate, as well as remove from the water those swimmers who are continuously struggling to keep up with their group.

The groups cannot be mixed or exchanged in the water.

There will be two aid stations in the water:

  1. The first 3.5km from the start
  2. The second 6.8 km from the start. (This distance is marked by the navigation channel of the Ría de Vigo)

At all times, if you are responsible for Race Safety, and you deem it appropriate, you can neutralize the race to reorder the swimmers.

All swimmers will be marked with a buoy that each participant must wear on them tied to the waist.
